CGES BINGO NIGHT

Back by popular demand.....BINGO!!! We are excited to announce that the PTA will once again be hosting a FUN filled evening of Bingo, food, raffles, and prizes that the entire family can enjoy!

When: Friday, November 17th from 6:30PM-8:30PM, doors open at 6PM

Where: Hallie Wells Middle School

Click HERE to pre order your Bingo cards, raffle tickets, and food. All cards, food, and raffle tickets will be sold at a DISCOUNTED rate when pre-purchased. Bingo cards will be available at the door at full price.

Chipotle Spirit Night

When: Monday, November 20th, 5p-9p

What: Who doesn't LOVE Chipotle!? Visit the restaurant or order online. 33% of the proceeds will be donated back to the school to help the PTA fund enrichment programs and activities. You MUST mention Cedar Grove ES or present this flyer for the school to get credit. If ordering online, use code GZBR83N. Thank you for your continued support.

Membership Drive

When: Now - Friday, November 16th

What: Help your child's class win a PTA Sponsored Hot Chocolate Bar! Join the PTA and the classroom with the highest percentage of members will win! You will also receive a FREE CGES tote bag!

The CGES PTA has started a Gardening Club! We have been meeting on Saturdays since the beginning of October and will continue to meet through November 18th. We will pick back up in the Spring. Kids are welcome to come. We have reached out to local landscaping companies for donations and have applied for various grants. Grey Goose has been a BIG supporter thus far.

We'll be addressing the Main Courtyard, the Kindergarten Courtyard, and the outdoor space where the portables were removed. Please click HERE to sign up for a Saturday! Let's BEAUTIFY CGES! #GoGreen

Please bring your gardening supplies...gloves, rakes, shovels, and brown paper bags for leaf removal (if you have them).

Volunteer Opportunities

Winter Wonderland

Every year we transform the school into a Winter Wonderland. When the Students walk into the school on the first Monday in December, they are excited to see all the decorations. We are looking for Parent Volunteers to help plan/make decorations, and then Parent Volunteers to help us decorate on Saturday December 2nd from 9a-2p. If you are interested in helping, sign up HERE.

Holiday Shop

This year's Holiday Shop will take place from Monday, December 11th - Friday, December 15th. Just like with the Book Fair, the students come to shop during the day all throughout the week. If you would like to help with this FESTIVE Event, click HERE! You'll be working the cash register, assisting the kids with making their lists, shopping, and budgeting. Thank you!

You'll pick your gear and then pick your logo for a custom look. We have t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, pants, shorts, backpacks, hair accessories, and MORE!!

We are a stronger community when all families and staff join and actively participate in the PTA. Upon purchasing/renewing a family membership, you'll receive a FREE CGES tote bag. Staff members who join/renew will receive $100 towards class materials.
