The goal of the PTA is to support and strengthen Cedar Grove Elementary to ensure that each student has the opportunity to reach their full potential. The PTA is a partnership between parents and the school to enhance educational excellence and keep our community strong. During a normal school year we sponsor anywhere from 10 to 20  events and activities.

 

We are committed to:

~Making sure that students have the tools they need to make learning valuable.

~Keeping the sense of community that makes Cedar Grove special.                  
~Support our school and families.


We’re also working on finding new ways to do some of our traditional activities, such as BINGO night, Book Fair, and providing new enrichment opportunities such as cultural assemblies.

 

Finally, through the local, state, and national PTA organizations we track policies so we can advocate for what’s best for our students, families and schools. 

 

For our PTA to be successful, we need your help!  In the same way our teachers and staff grow and nurture our children, now is the time for us as parents to nurture our staff and school.

 

Please consider joining and becoming a part of our Cedar Grove PTA community by signing up to be a member!  We need your participation and support more than ever.  As a PTA member you are not required to volunteer.  However, as a member you have a voice in decisions on funding and priorities.  Your membership fees and donations provide the funding needed to support the school.  We are a stronger community when all families join and actively participate in the PTA.
