Cedar Grove ES Holiday Shop

We have an amazing selection of gifts for purchase this Holiday Season. Teachers will sign up for a time to have their class shop early in the week. We will have helpers on hand to assist students with budgeting and making their purchases. Parents are welcome to come in for our Family Night on Tuesday (12th) evening from 5p-7p. Quantity of items is limited and will not be restocked, so making purchases early is the best way to ensure the widest selection. Items range between $0.50-$20. We will only be accepting cash, and all sales are final.

When: Monday, December 11th - Friday, December 15th.

Where: Cedar Grove Elementary School

Volunteers Needed!

Just like with the Book Fair, the students come to shop during the day all throughout the week. If you would like to help with this FESTIVE Event, click HERE! You'll be working the cash register, assisting the kids with making their lists, shopping, and budgeting. Thank you!

Movie Night at the Holiday Shop

When: Tuesday, December 12th 5:00PM-7:00PM

What: Join us for some evening shopping and a movie! FREE snacks and drinks will be available while supplies last.

Where: Cedar Grove Elementary School APR

Winter Wonderland

Every year we transform the school into a Winter Wonderland. When the Students walk in on the first Monday in December, they are excited to see all the decorations. We are looking for Parent Volunteers to help plan/make decorations, and then Parent Volunteers to help us decorate on Saturday December 2nd from 9a-2p. Holiday Treat Buffet

The CGES PTA is collecting Holiday Treats for our WONDERFUL Cedar Grove Staff! Please sign up HERE to bring some delicious desserts so we can create an AMAZING Holiday Treat Buffet for our deserving staff. Snacks can be store bought or homemade.

Read-a-Thon

The PTA will be hosting a Read-a-Thon after Winter Break

When: January 16th-January 26th

Information packets will be sent home closer to the middle of this month, so be on the lookout. Cedar Grove, GET READY TO READ!

Family Paint Night

Mrs. Kim has agreed to lead another AMAZING CGES Paint Night. We had such a great time last year and can't wait to do it again.

STEM Night and Science Expo

The Science Expo is BACK! Get your thinking caps on if you think you'll want to participate. We will also have vendors demonstrating all the different parts that make up STEM! Be on the lookout for more information in the future!

We have another sessions of After School Clubs COMING SOON! Please check the site regularly for updates. Registration links will added in the coming days. With such a wide variety of activities, there should be something for everyone. Sign up early to ensure a spot for your child. :-) ENJOY!

We collect Yearbook photos all year long! If you would like to contribute photos from throughout the year, you can use this link. Photos should be from school related events ONLY . Cell phone quality pictures are FINE!

We are a stronger community when all families and staff join and actively participate in the PTA. Upon purchasing/renewing a family membership, you'll receive a FREE CGES tote bag. Staff members who join/renew will receive $100 towards class materials.
