About Our PTA
Mission
The mission of the Cedar Grove PTA is to attain educational excellency by building strong teacher-parent relationships, encouraging parental involvement, providing academic enrichment programs, and offer academic, and family-oriented fun activities which promote learning and strengthen our CGES community.
In congruence with National PTA, Cedar Grove PTA represents parents, caregivers, educators and communities of all children, which enables us to best achieve PTA’s mission to make every child’s potential a reality. Our collective backgrounds, perspectives and ideas allow us to create the strongest future and direction for PTA.
Resources at the National PTA website can help you learn about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion issues, discuss these topics in our community and take action to more effectively serve ALL children and families, with a focus on historically marginalized and underrepresented populations.
Who we are
The Cedar Grove PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to making a difference in the education and quality of life for our children. In order to help our children and our teachers, the Cedar Grove PTA sponsors programs in the areas of educational enhancement, academic improvement, administration, facilities, school events, staff appreciation and student affairs. We would not be able to accomplish our mission without financial and volunteer support from our families and local businesses.
